I'm nervous about injecting myself
When we think of injections, we think of a big syringe with a long needle. But insulin technology has come a long way, and you'll be using a device about the size of a ballpoint pen. The needles are so small, you will hardly feel the injections. Injecting yourself won't feel natural at first, and for a while you'll have to think about every step. But practice makes perfect, and pretty soon, giving yourself an injection will be second nature.
