Recovering from a stroke

Your recovery time depends on the type and severity of your stroke. There are typically four different kinds of therapy that can help you recover: physical therapy to help you with balance and movement, occupational therapy to help with everyday tasks, speech therapy to improve your communication, and psychological therapy to deal with how you're feeling. Talk to your doctor about the other ways you can improve your recovery, and prevent a future stroke.
