Recovering from a heart attack

The road to recovery starts while you're still in the hospital. The doctors and nurses will want to make sure you're able to dress yourself, take a shower, and get around alright on your own. When you're allowed to return home, you'll want to take it easy for a few weeks. Your body is still recovering, and it might make you more tired than usual. Start getting back into your regular activities slowly, and ask your doctor before you start driving or go back to work. You'll be back to your old self soon, but for now, take it easy. It will give your heart the time it needs to recover.
