How to store insulin
Insulin is like most medications-it can be damaged if it gets too hot or too cold. If you're going somewhere with extreme temperatures, you'll need to keep your insulin safe. If the temperature will be very cold or very cold, keep your insulin in an insulated bag or thermos. If you're worried your insulin may have gotten too hot or started to freeze, take it back to your pharmacist and use a new package, so you can be sure you're getting the right dose.
