Maintaining a healthy weight

Being overweight can lead to all kinds of health problems, including heart disease and stroke. It's especially dangerous to carry a lot of weight in your midsection, because it means there is excessive fat packed in between your internal organs. If you're overweight, it's never too late to take charge of your health and get to a healthy weight. Getting regular physical activity can lower your blood pressure and bad cholesterol levels, and raise your good cholesterol levels. Maintaining a healthy weight not only feels good, but it greatly reduces your risk of suffering from a heart attack or stroke.
